The commonwealth Bank has now also got it’s own form of the Visa Debit card. Their version, the debit MasterCard has been a huge success with their customers around Australia and had become a substitute for the credit card for many people.
With the debit MasterCard you can use it anywhere MasterCard is accepted. This is quite a large scale as MasterCard is accepted in many countries around the world. People who like to travel have obtained the debit MasterCard so they can access their won funds whilst overseas.
As the commonwealth bank is Australia’s largest banking network it is no surprise that with the debit MasterCard you can make purchases and payments over the phone or online. The card is linked to two accounts and for a small fee; users can spend their own money and use it where credit is accepted.
The first everyday account is the Smart Access which gives you unlimited transactions with any commonwealth bank, including ATM, Internet and EFTPOS for $4 a month. The second account is the Complete Access which gives you the same as the smart access with included extras like phone banking and written cheques for just $6 a month.
